Advising Room for Female Researchers

 

Advising Room for Female Researchers (ARFR) is a personal consultation service room for female researchers and female students which was established in May 2008. An adviser provides you information and advice mainly about career development or how to manage with both research/study and life events, such as marriage, pregnancy and childcare. If it is required, the adviser can introduce you to other counseling centers in the University of Tokyo (Harassment Counseling Center, Career Support Office, Health Service Center, etc.). ARFR is open not only for female researchers and female students but also for their family, their supervisors or male faculty who want to support female researchers.

※An advisor at ARFR will listen to the client's story and will keep in strict confidence.
※Clients on maternity leave or childcare leave are welcomed. Please do not hesitate to come with your children.
